-Outside catering may be considered, but it must be 100% plant-based / vegan, including cakes/baked good. No exceptions, thanks!
-Sustainable materials and practices are highly encouraged (please no single use plastics, separate recyclables, etc).
-No smoking in building or outside on the Promenade due to City rules.
-Bands are not allowed due to local City rules.
-If kitchen is used by anyone other than our in-house team, it must be cleaned thoroughly and left in the exact condition as started.
-Anyone preparing food in our kitchen must show proof of holding a California Food Handler's Card for food safety in compliance with LA County Dept. of Health compliance, as well as Certificate of Insurance with coverage of $1million listing Modern Shaman LLC as a beneficiary.

About Modern Shaman
Modern Shaman is a 100% plant-based / vegan restaurant with a decor that combines rustic warmth with clean, industrial influences. Located on the Greenleaf Promenade in unique area of Uptown Whittier, the street is open for pedestrians only. There is a easy back alley access for deliveries behind the building. We have a full working kitchen and can provide seating for 50 in the indoor space and an additional 24+ people on our covered outdoor patio (measures 16' x 22'). We have Beer/Wine license which also also us to serve low alcohol (48 proof) craft cocktails.
