The Elgin hosted our wedding in September. We had a great experience from start to finish. Throughout the planning, the team, especially Cara and Caroline, were so accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed a lovely menu tasting ahead of the day and they accommodated all of our requests and completely captured what we wanted. On the day, the venue looked beautiful and the events team and staff were incredible, everything ran so smoothly and all of our guests had an amazing time! Can’t recommend them enough, thank you for all your help in making our wedding perfect!

We hosted our wedding reception at The Saloon Bar after a ceremony at the town hall, and Benny and the rest of the team were beyond brilliant!! We emailed back and forth for months and Benny was always so helpful and quick to reply to help me get things sorted. On the night, Andy and Sophie were also great and our guests all commented on how nice the staff were. We also ordered canapés and pizza from the sister restaurant and the food was delicious. We had such a fun evening and I’m so glad we chose here to host our guests - we couldn’t have asked for more!

Fantastic venue, Charlotte, the venue liaison, was amazing. Always easy to contact. We visited several times before the event which was always made available. Charlotte was in contact with everyone who needed to help, decorators, bar, caterers etc. she made the whole experience easy to navigate. The venue is wonderful. The top floor has a large terrace overlooking the river which is beautiful at sunset. We had around 70 guests and there was ample room on the two floors we hired. Venue has a bar & kitchen, the venue bar staff were so lovely too!

The Roost is a great quirky, stylish and beautiful venue, rich in spaces and opportunities. The garden, three floors incl. Bar, dancefloor and eclectic furniture. We had a really fun and memorable wedding reception here and our guests loved it. Steph, Dave and Barry were great to work with, responsive, helpful and reasonable to our requests. There is a list of preferred caterers but you can also bring in your own.

Staff were exceptionally attentive on the day. We had a shaky start to our planning with the changing of wedding coordinators as due to COVID there was a high staff turnover but Zora and Tzouliano really pulled it out of the bag. They were accommodating, in constant communication with us and really helpful. The food was delicious, they readily adapted the menu when we asked for dietary purposes and made sure everything ran smoothly. As a wedding venue - couldn't fault them!

Zac was on point with getting everything organised (including me), he was very professional and friendly to work with. At the venue Karolina, Marlene and the team were fab on the night itself and went out of their way to make sure our wedding reception went smoothly. An excellent night was had by all. The venue itself looked beautiful too.
