The Nave is a fantastic multi-purpose space that can be used for dinners, meetings, conference spaces, workshops, talks as well as parties, concerts and music events.
The space provides a unique setting, a combination of the original church structure framed by modern glass and white walls. Its high ceilings, original arches, a stained-glass window and fascinating history provide a wonderful atmosphere. Though fairly large, the space has a cosy feeling, suitable for smaller groups. Adjacent to the nave is the annex which is a perfect break out space, reception or refreshments area.
The space is equipped with a lectern, uplighters, flip charts and an upright piano. It benefits from fast WIFI, a Bose professional sound-system, an HD laser projector and wireless microphones.

- No Red Wine / Red Drinks. Throughout the venue, red wine is not permitted due to the stone floors of the nave and courtyard, and the carpeted interior of the Bedouin tent
- Smoking (including e-cigarettes/vaping) is strictly forbidden in any part of the building or Tent, but is permitted in the courtyard garden or outside the front entrance on Bishopsgate
- No Helium Balloons
- No blu tack
- No Candles inside Tent or Inner Courtyard. Candles are permitted in the outer
courtyard and other areas when in a container higher than the flame. They should
not be placed near/under plants or in thoroughfares
- No Shoes inside Tent. We kindly ask all guests and organisers to remove their
shoes before entering the Bedouin Tent
- Set-up and clear-up time is included in the booked slot. The space will not be
accessible before this time
- The space must be left as found

The space was excellent and perfect for our Company Meeting for ~80 people. Stamos was on-hand throughout our event if we needed anything, after helping us set up and navigate the AV equipment. Super success - we will be back

Marian was very helpful on the day and kept everything in check! We had a wonderful time here, the venue is truly beautiful and was perfect for the number of guests we had (70). only difficulty was unloading and parking for some guests.
Wow to say I am Impressed is an under statement! everything was perfect. The caretakers were so helpful Even helped me with my furniture delivery! The manager was very exceptional from Start to finish! Everyone was wowed with the venue. Shame the weather was not great it meant wr started later so couldn’t fully enjoy the building but wow it was as a special Treat hosting a prayer event in an original church building with so much history
About St Ethelburga's Centre
The location is a stunning venue situated near Liverpool Street. It provides a fantastic combination of intimacy and grandeur with original 14th-century arches providing the backdrop to the main space. Destroyed by an IRA bomb in 1993, it has been rebuilt with modern features and offers a unique and memorable space for any event. It is equipped with fast WiFi and has an in-house projector and sound system available in the main space.
The Bedouin Tent is a circular space, ideal for meetings and away-days, intimate gatherings and workshops, while the Nave offers a spectacular space for larger events.
