The Old Billiard Room is a blank-canvas function room in 8 Northumberland Avenue, anchored by its period architecture and formal, hall-like proportions.
Design: The interior presents a long, rectangular plan beneath a high decorated plaster ceiling, punctuated by tall arched windows and classical mouldings. The colour palette is restrained, providing a neutral backdrop for event lighting and temporary décor.
Features: The room includes a PA system and house speakers, venue Wi‑Fi and air conditioning. The room provides wheelchair access and accessible toilets, and organisers may bring their own DJ. The room also incorporates a front-stage performance area and rigged lighting suitable for presentations and live acts.

As part of the Westminster area we have strict sound regulations and restrictions will be discussed prior to confirmation as well as being included in contracts. *Bands are permitted in the Ballroom until 10.30pm, unless a approved band when they can play until 11.45pm. DJ’s are permitted until midnight in the Ballroom and 2am in the Old Billiard room.
The sound restriction affects bedrooms above the Ballroom.
*The rooms affected by sound are a superior and standard. Check in from 3pm.
