The Sports Bar and Lounge is the perfect space for entertaining, team building or formal events. Space opens into the adjoining alfresco area which enjoys the most beautiful views over the lake and golf course. The perfect spot to relax with friends or colleagues. The Sports Bar and Lounge can be hired for both private and corporate receptions but is included in all corporate events using the boardroom or conference room.
This space is also used for wedding receptions. By drawing the linen curtains space is transformed from a sports bar to stunning country function space. You can find our wedding packages listed in the Event Offers section. Our onsite events planner can help you plan the perfect wedding or special event.
Small screening room can be added as a free leisure activity for all guests.

If you’ve been searching for a stunning holiday house that lets you host a wedding and do things your way, Lawson Lodge could be the venue for you. We are a DIY wedding venue, which means you book the property, and you have the flexibility to design the wedding that best suits your needs. Don’t worry, we’ll certainly provide you with a list of amazing suppliers to get you started.
5-hour function room hire.
1 hour of pre-reception drinks (6hr functions only)
1 on-site supervisor for the duration of the event.
Use of all glassware, crockery and cutlery.
Use of Lawson Lodge furniture set for a cocktail or casual dining.
Use of commercial kitchen from 1 pm - 11 pm on the day of the wedding
Please note. You must supply a professional team of RSA qualified bar staff in order to
book this package. Suitable options include caterers, caravan bars or mobile bar staff.
These bar staffs are answerable to our Site Supervisor on the night, to ensure guest
safety and adhere to our Liquor Licence.
* Minimum spend for a wedding at Lawson Lodge is $9000. Weddings under 50 guests may incur a surcharge.
5-hour function room hire.

Lawson Lodge is situated on 53 acres of rolling hills, surrounded by national park and stunning bushland, with amazing panoramic views of Mount Macedon. A stay at Lawson Lodge is an unforgettable experience. Not only are the views picturesque, and the amenities outstanding, but when you book this incredible property, it is exclusively yours.
For groups requiring accommodation the Canadian style mountain Lodge is settled amongst beautiful English gardens and has eight beautifully appointed bedrooms, plus a walk through Dorma. Ranging from king beds to queens and a four bed Dorma, the Lodge comfortably sleeps up to 20 guests (16 adults & 4 kids). The two spacious living areas are beautifully furnished and featuring high ceilings, exposed beams and open wood fireplaces. For larger groups, (20+ guests), two executive suites can be added to your booking. Both featuring king beds and ensuite bathrooms and boasting stunning views across the lake and golf course.
Our beautifully maintained private 9-hole golf course is available unlimited use, and for fishing enthusiasts the lakes are well stocked. The club house features the recently refurbished sports bar and lounge with the stunning alfresco dining area overlooking the lake the perfect place to unwind or socialise with friends and colleagues. Featuring a wood fire, cosy leather couches, BBQ area and billiards, the club house will soon become the hub of your stay. This is also where you will find the 32 seat cinema with 10ft screen, perfect for movie nights or to enjoy the big game! Guests also enjoy the tennis court, basketball, petanque and bush walking tracks.
For business groups our conference or board rooms can also be added to your booking for self-contained or full service corporate events. Overnight and day events are permitted.
Located only 45 minutes drive from Melbourne CBD or 30 minutes from Melbourne Airport, Lawson Lodge is the perfect central location to explore the Macedon Ranges.
