About Foys Kirribilli
Our partnership with the Sydney Flying Squadron began in 2015. As Australia's oldest open boat sailing club, the Sydney Flying Squadron boasts a colourful history.
Founded in 1891 by prominent Sydney businessman Mark Foy, the club ran against the grain of the sailing establishment of the time - substituting complex rules and formulas to allow for wider participation and better public spectating. Foy was determined to make sailing accessible for all.
