Wedding · 40 guests · January 2026 · The Windsor Suite
It was the Viceroy and Regency suite actually because during our discussion Windsor got booked up and I wasnt told about it until it was too late. What I liked about V&R: Pretty ceilings, dimer lights (didnt work too well on the day tho), Tapestry. Balcony access. What I liked about Asia: Kind, answered my questions and concerns, she’s calm and gentle, she helped with last minute problems; such as the decorator forgetting to give a coffee table so she scavenged one for us and steamed the cloth on it. Bless her, that was so nice. She even provided a step stool when I mentioned the platform was too big. She let us keep the cake, sword and easel in her office. Dealt with vendors for some time as well. Worked with me on solutions to problems that I brought up. She did come around and check in when before the ceremony, talked to the vendors and sort stuff out. Offered me a drink while I was getting ready as well (wish I said yes!) and is overall a lovely person!
V&R: Wooden floors had gaps so you couldn’t wear stilettos which I was told after the booking process (money paid) while signing contract. The broken mirror is drilled in the wall so couldn’t be taken out. Bump in floor was difficult to manoeuvre while walking between the two rooms. Lights didnt go as dim as I’d hoped on the day. Partial use of kitchen is £500, full is £1000, most caterers require it so keep that in mind. ASIA: Several Miscommunications. Went on Christmas break at the most crucial time of planning. Didn’t understand a few things that I was saying. Said she’d be there like a personal assistant on the day and then was no where to be found for most of it. The stage was TOO TALL, and she never mentioned that I’d need a step to climb it, somehow I’m expected to do that with a wedding dress and heels. Real classy! I wish she took more initiative. The plinth she provided for the guest book was too high, so no one could even see it properly, let alone sign it. 95% of the she said she’d do, I had to do because deadlines didn’t wait for the festive period. She also said venue would provide linens, few days before the event, turns out they dont. I told her stage was for people to come up to take photos + the ceremony, there was barely enough room for that. The easel was not taken out on time, so the decorator (never using ezra again!!) stuck it to the mirror at the worst possible location, absolutely wasted the mirror and the welcome sign!) I wish that was overlooked by Asia since I was busy getting make up done. I only got access to her phone number towards the end, so it got quite difficult to get a hold of her during the crucial time. She promised a lot but didnt deliver much, which is why I’m disappointed. It wasn’t all bad, I’ve mentioned good things above, but it wasn’t all good either. She’s still a lovely person, but keep these things in mind.

Gala · 250 guests · November 2025 · The Bayswater Suite
The venue is wonderful and made our event a million times better. Everyone is still talking about how beautiful it was weeks later! The support from the team was also great and Asia, the events manager, is amazing at supporting and providing everything needed. She made the whole process and set up a lot easier and smooth-going.
The only small thing was that we had a lot of trash after the event and they don't have bins or any assistance to take them out. So you either have to take 10 massive trash bags back home or pay per bag for the trash to be picked up, which wasn't a cost we had previously calculated or counted on.

Wedding Reception · 120 guests · September 2025 · The Viceroy & Regency Suites
We had our wedding reception at the Columbia. From the moment we came to see the venue to the day itself, Asia supported us to make our vision a reality! She is professional, enthusiastic, responsive and creative, guided us with our planning to help us stay on track and communicated with all the vendors to ensure everything and everyone arrived on time and was as expected. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and ideal for around 100-120 guests, with spaces for everyone: those who want to dance, relax or be outdoors on warmer days. We had our reception in the Viceroy & Regency, dinner at the Windsor suite and dancing at the V&R, and definitely recommend hiring both rooms. The staff set up the rooms just as we expected and everything looked beautiful. We knew it was the perfect venue as soon as we saw it and the price point is very reasonable for the rooms, balcony, staff and location! Highly recommended. Thank you so much for a perfect day!
Nothing. It was perfect!!
