About Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery
Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.
Pitzhanger Manor was the country home of Sir John Soane, one of the most influential architects in British history. Soane designed many remarkable buildings, including the Bank of England, but Pitzhanger is almost unique as a house he designed, built, and lived in himself.
Set in the grounds of Walpole Park, Pitzhanger Manor is a Grade I listed house, designed and owned by Soane between 1800 and 1810. It was his countryside residence, where he escaped with his family and friends such as J.M.W. Turner — fishing in the Serpentine in Walpole Park, which served as his private gardens.
The house was designed for entertaining, which makes it well suited to weddings, parties, and other celebrations. It comes alive when filled with champagne and conversation.
The Manor and its grounds include a number of spaces, each with its own character and a range of capacities to suit different events.
