The district is named after the battle of Waterloo where the British army took the lead. Even the Waterloo Bridge is tied to this great piece of history. The Waterloo district, 200 years after the battle, is now known for the largest train station in Britain, the London Waterloo Station. The area is home to two world-class theatres, lovely restaurants and a huge IMAX cinema. Organised a work christmas dinner here. Very friendly serving staff, and organising the event was helped a lot via an online portal and very helpful staff member (Emily). Food was fantastic and venue had a lovely feel to it. Strongly recommend!
Ian was fantastic from start to finish, taking me through the facilities and discussing my requirements, allowing me to understand my options. Dietary requirements were all accommodated for and the food was delicious. Ian worked with us throughout our event to ensure the smooth running of the night. All the bar and waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this venue and I'm sure we will be back in the future. Thank you so much Ian and Team!!

We had a fantastic time and were astonished by the level of service we received from the team. It went way over our expectations. The atmosphere is lovely with plants everywhere in the cafe and we were given excellent coffee and treats throughout the day. The location is great and very central too.
The team were amazing and very accommodating to my needs. The guests had a great time and everyone has commented on how great the food was.
Everyone commented on how lovely the bar staff and security guys were, and Jess the manager was very helpful indeed. We’d thoroughly recommend The Rat Bar to others for a private party.
