The design of Hathaway complements the environment around which it sits. The transition from outside to inside feels fluid, natural, warm, and welcoming. The use of rattan represents craft, the human touch, and the vernacular – all qualities that resonate with Hathaway’s dining concept.

Large glass windows open to an amazing view and allow ample natural light to stream in during the day. The domed rattan elements along the windows make the most of this panorama by both framing views and drawing curious looks in.

HATHAWAY VENUE HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENT

Provisional bookings must be confirmed with a secured credit card hold.
We reserve the right to charge 50% of the agreed minimum spending if you cancel within 30 days prior to your booking.
All payment or venue fees must be paid on the day of your event.
There will be no reduction in the cost/minimum spending if the number of Guests attending the event is less than originally booked.
All payments are to be in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

CANCELLATION
A confirmed booking shall only be deemed to be cancelled when we receive written notification of the cancellation from you.
Cancellation within 7 days prior to the day of your event will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
Please let us know as early as possible should you need to cancel your event.

EVENT HIRE PERIOD, FACILITIES
During the agreed hire period, the event must be finished and all guests departed by no later than 30 minutes from the agreed timing unless agreed otherwise in writing with Hathaway or a late charge will be applied.
No unapproved alterations may be made to the appearance of the Venue and nothing should be affixed to the walls or surfaces without the prior approval of Hathaway.
No confetti, other than rose petals, is to be used inside or outside.
The Client will be responsible for any loss or damage to the Venue which is attributed to the Client, the Guests or any third party Caterer.

About Hathaway

Hathaway in old English means someone who lives by a path across a heath, which describes our location here at Dempsey. Like the name, our menu seeks to capture the context of our time and place through the lens of Southeast Asian flavours and crossroads.

We are excited to show that we are an incredibly delicious and interconnected region with a shared cuisine formed by centuries of interactions between our peoples and the ingredients of our lands.

So as to try to be inclusive to all our local communities, including our Malay community from which we draw immense inspiration, we have decided not to use pork, lard, and alcohol in our food menu.
