PEN & INC Tropical Event Space — a 120-seat tropical-themed restaurant and private event venue tucked into the greenery of one-north. THE VENUE
By day, a full-service restaurant serving lunch, business meals and weekend brunch to one-north's tech, biomedical and research community. By evening, the space transforms into a stylish private event venue with a fully stocked bar, ambient lighting and flexible layouts. Adjacent to our Grand Function Hall — so larger events can extend seamlessly across both spaces when guest lists grow beyond 150.

We recently hosted our Christmas party at this wonderful venue, and the experience was truly exceptional! Mr. Ajay and his team were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure all our requests were met. The venue itself is stunning — we were particularly impressed by the floor-to-ceiling main display screen on the stage, which made the event feel grand and immersive.
The food was absolutely delightful, with a wide variety of dishes that pleased every palate. The service throughout the evening was professional, attentive, and friendly, making everyone feel well taken care of.
Overall, it was a seamless and memorable experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend this venue for any corporate or social event, and we look forward to hosting future celebrations here!

Staff was very friendly and tried to make things easy for us. Even during the event, they helped us set up chairs for our games. When we got the room to prepare before the event, most of things were already set up correctly. They were very flexible. Ajay coordinated everything with me and his responses were prompt most of time.
There are three things. When we came to test the audio a few days prior to the event with an appointment, they kept telling us that they cannot bring the speakers to test. The speakers were next room set up for another event for the following day. We had to ask if when can just test there. It took a while for them to understand that we had come to check everything works. 2. Cups for soft drinks were paper, not even clear plastic cups. 3. Staff was not in the event room all the time so I needed to wait to request things during the event.
