About this space
The Library is our smallest space that we offer for semi private events. Our antique bookshelves, lights and tables set the ambience of the 18th century. It is the perfect spot to book for a smaller event as we can accommodate 6 guests around our cosy table. Perhaps you would like an area to have some drinks and snacks, the library can accommodate 10 guests for something less formal. The Library is located above the main restaurant, where you will still be able to absorb the heart and the atmosphere.

Clifford’s is a basement restaurant on the site of what used to be Clifford’s Inn – built in the twelfth century and demolished in 1934. We serve Modern Classics, simple and with little intervention to the amazing British-sourced meat, fish and vegetables. We're a beautiful space with teal interiors and wooden antique furniture, decorated with fresh flowers and flickering candles. The ambience is perfect for any event.
