Have you ever visited a physical one? If yes, you know what to expect (more or less), just everything is virtual! Our games are interactive, so that you can experience the riddles and challenges as if you were there. For example, our Desert Island game allows you to travel through an island (and attempt escaping from it!) In real time, in the Man on The Moon game or Elephants on Mars each of the players has a designated role and different tasks to complete. Most challenges are timed, sometimes you can rely on the Host or AI to help you overcome obstacles!
We recommend small to medium sized teams, though there are exceptions to that rule! Most escape rooms run in small groups of 3-5, but that doesn’t mean you can bring a bigger team, we would simply split you into teams and you’d compete against each other, what’s not to like? Desert Island can be played in a group as little as 4, Elephants on Mars from 10+ and Man on the Moon is recommended from 12 up!
There’s as many case studies as customers, but from our experience escape rooms work best for a classic team building (the team has to bond to conquer a common enemy, nothing better than that!) and onboarding and recruitment (you can identify each others’ strengths and weaknesses really quickly!). IT, Financial and BA teams seem to enjoy those games most. We would advise against it if you’re looking for an entertaining break during a conference or a lighthearted summer party - if you want your team to relax, review Virtual Social, At The Races or other hilarious options, as escape rooms can be quite intense!
No worries, it happens to the best of us! In this case, our Hosts would provide a debrief and answer any questions you might have, so you know when you made a mistake or what stopped you from completing the quest!
Absolutely! Of course, experienced players always have an advantage, as they might figure out the logic of the game faster, but being a newbie has it’s advantages. Speak with our team and they’ll suggest the best activity to start your escape room experience with!
