Betty & Joan’s is a lively, queer-owned venue in Elephant Park, set up as more than just a bar. It comes from the team behind The Queer Comedy Club, so there’s a built-in focus on entertainment and a welcoming, inclusive feel. Because of the stage and the way it’s set up, it suits a mix of uses—presentations, panels, performances, or a bit of everything in one event.
Betty & Joan’s is the big, bold, slightly chaotic older sister. Hosting up to 250 guests, it’s ideal for conferences, networking, launches and parties with plenty of room for big ideas and even bigger energy.
Why choose one when you can have both? Use one as your main space and the other as a breakout. Swap halfway through. Keep people on their toes.

Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 3 months from the original date, at no cost.
