Location was superb.

Nobody seemed to know we were coming and no preparation had taken place. We arrived at 12:45 in readiness for our 13:00 meeting and waited for 15 minutes for someone to greet us. When they did greet us they asked us to wait (for another ten minutes) then proceeded to take us to a meeting room we had not booked. They left us in this meeting room while they clearly went to prepare the meeting room we had booked. Another 10 minutes later they returned to show us to our meeting room which was freezing cold and had the air conditioning blasting out noisily. The TV had been removed for the wall meaning we had another ten minutes of messing around while they sorted us us with a TV on a trolley. There was no tea or coffee facilities provided in the room and the event was a total disappointment.

Great location but clearly just after the money as the room I was given was not Covid-safe.

The room we were provided with was not Covid safe. I asked for a room large enough to accommodate the numbers with social distancing, this did not happen. Our attendees were squashed together and it did not feel safe at all. I had asked to add a couple of extra people at the last minute which I was told was okay, this should never have been allowed as the room was not covid safe even for the original numbers I had booked for. When you've put a lot of work in to plan a socially distanced training session and assured people their safety is a priority, it is embarrassing to have people arrive and be sat right against other people with no space. I had also requested a classroom layout, the room was set up for a boardroom layout. When querying this, staff seemed to not know what a classroom layout was.

The lady who hosted us was very polite and courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very helpful. The room was perfect for our event. Sadly, it was all let down by your very poor broadband and networking solution.

The internet connection was terrible and will mean we will not return for any additional bookings. We hired the room to run a team meeting in-person and with additional members dialing into a virtual meeting. The internet connection was so bad, we had to cancel the virtual call that included many members of our EMEA team. I was very disappointed about this.

The original room we required was full and we were upgraded for a marginal price increase to the Library room which was a lovely gesture and this particular room was beautiful and perfect in size.

The air conditioning did not work - not a huge problem as the windows opened of course but it is always nice to have a consistent ambient temperature without the outside noise and wind then coming through the room which became a little uncomfortable to work with.
