Food was delicious and the team made special dishes for the vegans and pescatarians which was greatly appreciated. The onsite team were lovely and a pleasure to work with. Really helpful with our set up and arrangement and throughout the event.

Music was not played in the garden. As this is a major part of a event it really should have been mentioned before the day that we would not be able to hear anything unless stood at the bar. As a summer garden party and booked for the lovely outdoor space this was a major disappointment and really affected the ambiance of the event. There should have been signs telling residents there was a private party on as the staff had to keep following people and asking them to leave instead.

About Le Gothique

With its towers, spires and turrets Le Gothique looks like a fairytale castle set upon Wandsworth Common. The oasis that is the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building provides the backdrop for this most unusual venue.

It's almost impossible to believe that this wonderful restaurant, bar and award winning garden location is just a mile from Wandsworth Bridge and the lower Kings Road in one direction and Clapham Junction main line services in the another.

For a London venue it also offers that rarity of secure off street parking.

Le Gothique certainly has the WOW factor. Stepping into the building one is immediately transported into a different world. The “secret garden” located within the heart of the building is central to its charms. The Harry Potteresque Victorian cloistered Secret Garden is just one of the many quirks that make this London’s most unusual venue.

Wedding speeches take place from the church pulpit which can be located in the garden or bar. The Gothic Bar plays host to the pre-wedding drinks as well as providing the dance floor for the evening celebrations. They even have their own in-house Rolls Royce to whisk the bride in style to the venue.
