Gothic Bar, Bar in Le Gothique. A compact private bar inside the historic building, featuring a carved-period timber counter that gives the room an intimate, contained character.

Design: The bar has low, intimate proportions, patterned carpet underfoot and warm mirror-backed shelving behind the counter. The space includes a mezzanine balustrade, stool seating and a small area for standing or mingling under soft overhead lighting.

Features: A staffed bar serves beer, wine, cocktails and spirits from the counter. Food was delicious and the team made special dishes for the vegans and pescatarians which was greatly appreciated. The onsite team were lovely and a pleasure to work with. Really helpful with our set up and arrangement and throughout the event.
Music was not played in the garden. As this is a major part of a event it really should have been mentioned before the day that we would not be able to hear anything unless stood at the bar. As a summer garden party and booked for the lovely outdoor space this was a major disappointment and really affected the ambiance of the event. There should have been signs telling residents there was a private party on as the staff had to keep following people and asking them to leave instead.
