The staff were really wonderful.
Beautiful venue, perfect size for 30/35 people, had my own music, great location well connected. I would recommend it.
Food quantities for the buffet were quite small, I expected more for that price.
The veggie burgers tasted amazing, the rest of the food was very good too!
The buns on the burgers were all a bit hard and it would have been good to have a proper sign to indicate which burgers were veggie and which had meat in them (the quality of the veggie ones made it too hard to tell!)
Great quirky space, very accessible via public transport. Drinks were great and staff were very helpful and bubbly. I arrived a couple of hours early to set up and the team were very accommodating with my AV needs! I would host a party here again in a heartbeat.
Head bar tender was a bit late to setup which cost me about 30 mins where I could get things going. I did let them know what time I’d arrive and the other crew member assisting me didn’t know how to set up a few things so we were just waiting for some time to get moving.
About The Mitre Lancaster Gate
“Think Dickensian, underground dram shop with undertones of decadence infused with psychoactive alkaloids derived from none other than The Devil’s Root itself………and you’ll be halfway there.”
- Relic Interiors London
Walking through the sinuous wine-cellar tunnels and past the candle-lit dinning room, the hustle and bustle of London is a world away.
Perfect for intimate gatherings and wild parties alike, The Mitre Lancaster Gate is a unique space for unique events.
Alongside our weekly jazz sets and monthly comedy evenings, we offer a wide selection of classic and experimental cocktails. Our staff is friendly and well versed in the art of the cocktail, feel free to make a request if your favourites aren't on the menu.
