Library in an Event Venue

Private space

About this space

The Library is a private Library in Conway Hall, a period book-lined room defined by original parquet flooring and portrait-lined walls.

Design: The room presents tall wooden bookcases on three sides, oil portraits and pendant lights across a long rectangular plan. The finish is dark timber parquet and high painted ceilings that create a formal, studious interior.

Features: The Library includes fixed shelving, a central librarian's desk and a long wooden table with chairs that can be rearranged for meetings or displays. The space has Wi‑Fi, an in-room PA/speaker system, permission to play own music and is subject to the venue's noise restrictions.

Ideal for: Academic and professional groups seeking a formal, seated meeting or a focused presentation.

What sets it apart: A central circular skylight provides direct overhead daylight to the room.
