Our impressive wood-panelled Library emulates the opulence of the library at the Travellers’ Club, from which it takes its inspiration. Situated at the top of the central staircase on the first floor, the Library evokes an antique, literati charm, offering a serene and decadent atmosphere, featuring well-stocked bookshelves, an intimate terrace, and a beautiful view across Park Lane to Hyde Park. Crystal chandeliers add to the elegance, enhancing the play of light across the rich green walls and antique parquet flooring.

The Library is a versatile, bright and airy space with antique elegance, perfect for a variety of events. It is a wonderful location for wedding ceremonies, conferences, seated dining and casual social gatherings with capacity to welcome up to 60 people – or more when combined with the Drawing Room. The space is also licensed for wedding ceremonies, offering an timeless setting for intimate and elegant events.

Planning an event on a separate continent is not easy, and the University’s Women Club was a marvelous partner. They paid attention to all the details, the timing, had the AV and room ready just the way we needed it.
The construction adjacent to the bldg doesn’t make for an inviting entrance. However, that’s not the fault of the Club AND they provided a wonderful answer when asked about the project.

Beautiful space for our ideation session with external agency partners. Lukasz was great to work with and arranged everything for us, despite fluctuating numbers. The room is very impressive and equipped with presentation equipment and sound as needed.
The space was a little tight for 40 guests at round tables - we just about made it work!

FAQ

Yes, the venue would be delighted to support the use of its PA system for playing CDs.

A refreshments table can be set up either inside the Library or just outside the room.

The Library and Drawing room are on the first floor of the club, and there is no passenger lift serving that floor. The Library has an AC unit for the comfort of members and guests.

Construction works taking place in the square could potentially interfere with filming. Teams are strongly recommended to visit the venue beforehand to assess noise levels.

A 2-metre-wide projection screen, microphones and modular staging units are available. The staging can be configured for a panel discussion and Q&A.
