I booked a private dining room at L’Escargot, the Green room, we were a large group of friends on a Saturday evening. We had a wonderful time, from start to finish was absolutely fantastic.
The food was outstanding, the smoked salmon for starter was delicious - the ideal starter, followed by the rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection, absolutely stunning served with the potato dauphinoise and all finished off with Crème brûlée.
Our waiter David was excellent, he was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The table was set beautifully, the room with its chandeliers and period features a great setting for a banquet. The atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable and private with a sense of autonomy. We were able to play our own music and even add some of our own decorations and accessories to the table setting. Our drinks were ready on arrival, everything was seamless from start to finish.
I would highly recommend L’Escargot, I’ve eaten a few times in the restaurant and now as a large group in a private dining room and every time has been a great experience. I will certainly be back.

Mattia was great, helping us arrange a wonderful evening suitable for all of our guests. The library room was beautiful, and the food tasted fantastic, as you'd expect! A memorable evening. Thank you.
The staff were genuinely lovely and helpful, but overall service was a bit slow and sometime disjointed. But the overall experience was such a treat, and they allowed us our discretion, so we certainly could overlook that.
