Had an amazing work christmas party at L'escargot snail bar. Was so nice having our own private room, with bathrooms right next to it, it's own little bar where we could decide in advance what drinks we could have available. The food was lovely and a good quantity. We were allowed to bring our own speakers and play our own music. A pianist came half way through and played for a couple of hours, which we actually didn't realise was part of the evening, was a nice touch, although would have been better if we'd known in advance so we could decide if it was actually right for our event. Overall eveyone had a fantastic evening, and the bar staff were excellent.
I assumed we would have had wait staff serving the canapes around to everyone but instead they just brought the food to a couple of the tables, which was fine in the end and we served ourselves, just didn't realise. Again, would have been nice to decide about the piano player in advance.

About L'Escargot

L'Escargot is the oldest French restaurant in London, located in the heart of Soho.

For over 90 years we have hosted the great and the good in our beautiful Georgian Townhouse.

Le Salon Vert is the most elegant and enchanting room, with 16th-century gold encrusted ceiling and mirror, look below to the streets of Soho with a glass of our Laurent Perrier Champagne in hand.

With no surprise, this is our most demanded private room.
