About St Lukes Community Centre

St Lukes Community Centre is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

Community is at the heart of everything we do, and our spacious Community Centre on Central Street in South Islington enables us and other organisations to offer services and activities for those who need them at little or no cost. We aim to improve the quality of life for people living in our area of benefit and to break down barriers, particularly for the most vulnerable.

We are open: Monday to Friday, 9 am-7 pm (closed Bank Holidays). During our opening hours, we are a designated Warm Space in winter and a Cool Space if temperatures soar in summer – all locals are welcome.

We have large and small rooms for hire, facilities to run a variety of events, an online centre with free WiFi, and much more for all ages. We have a fully equipped Cookery School, which can be hired out, with all income going back into classes that teach the local community about healthy home cooking on a budget and avoiding food waste. We have outdoor spaces for locals to enjoy, including an Edible Yard where we grow our own food and a sunny terrace.
