About Beaconsfield Gallery
Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall is a flexible, impressive site for ceremonies and celebrations.
Housed in the historic Lambeth Ragged Schools, the site has been transformed into a stunning contemporary art gallery and versatile event space that moves from the breathtaking height and volume of the Upper Gallery space to the raw aesthetic of an original Victorian railway arch.
The Upper Gallery is full of natural light with seven-metre-high white walls, an original raked wooden floor, and tall arched windows. For smaller and more intimate occasions, the elegant Lower Gallery offers white walls, an original Yorkstone floor, cast iron pillars, and Crittall windows, also providing excellent natural light. The Arch Gallery is an atmospheric space suitable for large receptions, with exposed brick walls, a state-of-the-art invisible infrared heating system, and a sprung, grey-painted floor.
The urban aesthetic of the Arch complements the period features of the Upper and Lower Galleries with the capacity to accommodate both dinner and dance.
Our award-winning garden yard is available in conjunction with any of the three main galleries and there is ample room to erect a marquee for catering if required. An all-season canopy at the front entrance may act as an additional reception area.
