About this space

Garden Yard, a Garden in Beaconsfield Gallery, is a semi-private outdoor courtyard that provides a sheltered external extension to the gallery's indoor spaces.

Design: The courtyard is a compact, paved yard bounded by high brick and stone walls; timber planters, climbing greenery and a mix of informal seating create an urban, utilitarian garden character.

Features: The courtyard has a covered seating area and movable tables and chairs; Wi‑Fi is available and hosts may play their own music or hire a DJ subject to noise restrictions. The space has wheelchair access, accessible toilets and a step‑free entrance.

Ideal for: Creative groups and small community or professional gatherings seeking an intimate, informal outdoor setting for relaxed standing receptions or casual seated socialising.

What sets it apart: A seasonal plant shop operates in the courtyard from March to October.

What guests say: The courtyard flows well from the gallery's interior and provides a relaxed, characterful outdoor setting.
