Absolutely loved Venue 68 and Shanghai. The location was perfect, the drinks were great, and all of my friends kept complimenting how amazing the staff were. Everything came together to make my 30th birthday perfect. I would highly recommend everyone to book here. You won’t be disappointed.

The basement venue is perfect for a proper party with speakers. The staff were amazing on the night with drinks orders. It was relaxed and a great atmosphere. Everyone had the best time!
I disliked the fact I was not told in advance how much paperwork would be needed to bring my own DJ decks and speakers as this caused significant stress and extra cost. I paid for PLI insurance, got the equipment pat tested according to the venue’s rules and then when I got there the manager didn’t even know how to plug the stuff in and we ended up having to plug two extension leads together because there was not a long enough one which a) isn’t very safe and b) is quite ridiculous given the lengths I was made to go to do things legally/properly.

I did pre order some crisps for the night and they didn’t turn up, must have been some sort of mix up.
