Set within a beautifully restored Grade II* listed former town hall, the venue includes the spectacular Grand Hall Suite plus the Lower Hall, Members’ Bar,New Committee Room, Studio One and Elm House. Together, these spaces can accommodate events of all sizes, whether you're planning an intimate board meeting, a networking reception, a multi-room conference or a large-scale brand activation.

Immersed in London history
Located in Southwest London, our building has been part of community life for more than 125 years. Originally Battersea Town Hall, it has hosted suffragette meetings, the voting in of John Archer as the first Black mayor of a London borough, and galas supporting survivors of the Titanic. When the building faced demolition 50 years ago, the community came together to save it, and Battersea Arts Centre was born.

Available amenities include exclusive use of the Grand Hall Suite (Octagonal Hall, Grand Hall Bar, East corridor, two dressing rooms), a 14-hour room hire period, house lights, PA system and microphones, furniture hire (subject to availability), security, cleaning and duty management, and introductions to curated caterers and suppliers.
Yes, external caterers are allowed; additional charges will apply to bring in an external caterer.
Yes, the Grand Hall Suite includes an accessible toilet.
Yes — a PA system for speeches, background music and announcements is provided, complete with two handheld microphones; additional lighting or equipment is charged separately.
Cancellations 60 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 60 days to 30 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 30 days are non-refundable.
