Set inside a Grade II listed building in Battersea, the Grand Hall Suite blends historic architecture with flexible event production to offer a spectacular backdrop for large-scale events. Guests arrive through the private entrance on Town Hall Road into the Octagonal Hall, before moving into the Grand Hall for dinner, speeches, networking and entertainment.

With flexible layouts and capacity for up to 350 guests for dinner-dance formats and up to 800 for standing receptions, BAC is ideal for large corporate events in London that need atmosphere, flexibility and a memorable guest journey.

Immersed in London history
Located in Southwest London, our building has been part of community life for more than 125 years. Originally Battersea Town Hall, it has hosted suffragette meetings, the voting in of John Archer as the first Black mayor of a London borough, and galas supporting survivors of the Titanic. When the building faced demolition 50 years ago, the community came together to save it, and Battersea Arts Centre was born.

When you choose BAC, you're supporting an independent charity and cultural organisation at the heart of the local community. Income generated through event hires helps maintain this extraordinary historic building and directly supports year-round artistic and community programmes.
- Allow BAC to search all containers, bags, boxes and equipment coming into or leaving the Venue, including those brought onto the Venue by guests.
- No explosives, fireworks, candles, flares, or dangerous substances or use naked flames or pyrotechnics
- No smoking in the venue or immediatley outside the entrances
- No gas-filled balloons, streamers, glitter cannons or confetti either externally or internally without the prior written consent of BAC
- No nails, screws or other fixings into the walls, ceilings or floors or into any furniture or fittings.
- No animals in the building without prior written consent from BAC.

Branded experiences are welcome, but as a Grade II listed building, the venue does not allow anything to be attached directly to the walls and permits only specific adhesives on floors.
Yes, the venue has six rounds on-site and approximately 470 theatre-style chairs. However, the tables are not enough for larger guest numbers, and the chairs are very heavy and utilitarian, so they are not ideal for drinks receptions.
Yes, live bands are permitted.
