On the night of the party we were blown away by how attentive and brilliant all of the bar staff and security were. Not only were they incredibly friendly and supportive during the whole night but they also ensured every different need of ours was met, which was a tall order for such a diverse group of people. The venue was very clean and laid out exactly as we had requested so in that sense we were also very impressed. Thank you so much to the amazing staff and to Will for making my birthday party so special.
It was often quite difficult to communicate regularly with staff on here which made decision making often frustrating. The sound system was very clear but could’ve been louder.

Decor, comfy and stylish furniture and lovely bar area. Good equipment available to use, we played videos and photos to make celebration evening special. Friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. Private space perfect for our 70th birthday celebration with all our family.
Location, organisation, security and communication. We booked specifically after vsiist as promised car park access until 10pm, as we had catering coming in, guests from far away and a few disabled guests plus myself with new baby. We got there security were rude and unhelpful, wouldn't let us access car park and told my sister and caterer who were parked there to leave immediately or they would be locked in overnight. Afterwards forced to walked a different route through pitch black alley in rain, cold and puddles around bulding to get back to where we started as they wouldnt let us out way we came right by the venue. Some guests had to borrow wheelchairs and caterer carry heavey bulky equipment back and forth with no help. Management gave us wrong info and saod they couldnt help. Toilets were also dirty and some stalls blocked in ladies, even though I was told they had been checked. Were allowed to bring in catered food but not a microwave. no reason given.

The venue itself is great, great facilities, a really ideal place to host a party! Will was very helpful throughout, including on the day, helping to make the day run as smoothly as possible even during our technical difficulties with connecting our laptop! All my guests complimented the venue, especially the student priced drinks! Would highly recommend this venue - great price, great facilities, great staff. Thank you all for making my birthday party a success!
Such a shame that we had difficulties with our laptop! Only other thing was the temperature control - we all felt quite cold and unfortunately the temperature control is from the main university and nothing could really be done about it. Didn’t notice as much when we were moving around but if still/seated it did feel chilly!

Freddie’s is a hidden gem , affordable, flexible and nice interiors. Will was really helpful in answering all the questions prior to the event and on the day him and his colleague were also very helpful. Was also great we were able to bring our own caterers, DJ and even had some drummers. Would definitely recommend if looking for an event space in London.
