Nice venue
Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the service and food we received last night. The staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, unorganised and overwhelmed. Many of my colleagues had issues with their orders not arriving or getting the drinks order wrong. I placed an order for a glass of wine, after 30 minutes I asked when I’d get my drink, the waiters didn’t know there was a drink order placed, so I placed another order. I had to wait a while again, had to ask again where my drink was. The male waiter seemed to be taking orders but then not actually ordering them and when asked looked as though he hadn’t a clue what you were asking. I then received my drink, only to receive the same drink again 5 min later. So Ended up with 3 of the same drinks altogether at once. The starters didn’t come out at once, they came out in dribs and drabs. One half of the table had a few starters and the other half plus our second table had none. Non one could eat at the same time as there wasn’t enough starters or any starters to eat. The mains lacked flavour, very bland and the portion sizes were disappointingly small. The Eton mess dessert consisted only of cream and strawberries – it was missing the meringue. We had pre-ordered all our food so the Kitchen/staff should have been prepared. It was a Faulty tower experience.
