Loved having a busy atmosphere but being able to have your own space at the same time. The staff on the night were all great and we had a fab time.
Working out a way to pre-order more food and deliver it to the bookshop over the evening (without extra staff costs - £60 felt really prohibitive) would have meant we'd have done more of a catering order. Perhaps you could frame it as a minimum spend on food and manage the staff cost if that was met?
We were given such a warm welcome at my book launch event. Ria and Jenna made the booking process so easy, and Emily and Josh were absolute stars on the night! We all felt so welcome, and I'm so grateful to you all for making it such a special evening!
Whole space to our selves, very friendly and helpful staff, they greeted every guest and offered to store their coats in the back room. Top job!
Some people wander in from time to time but the staff made sure to let them know it was a private event quickly and without incidents
Food options were excellent; the clients were happy with the choices. The venue itself didnt need additional music as the DJ outside provided it well.
I would say that the room could do with more decoration to make it feel extra special; it did feel a little like we were in a book shop in the corner (which I know it is).
