Function Room at Simmons | Temple

The staff were friendly and informative. They responded to requests we had very quickly and helped out with the karaoke machine as well as setting up the songs playlist. The venue was just as described. A private function room for just me and my friends. I would highly recommend this place as everyone spoke very highly of the party!

Small issue that was quickly sorted but when we arrived there was no toilet paper in the upstairs toilet.

Great room, tidy and clean. Great drinks, friendly, helpful and fun staff. Great cocktails. Speakers were more than adequate for playing bass oriented dance music. I was misinformed about lead requirements for the decks and as a result we had the wrong one. This did cause some unnecessary stress and delay to our music but it was resolved promptly by Simon, thanks!

The only thing is that we didn't meet the minimum spend which amounted to less than £50 per person, we are definitely a crowd of drinkers who are well-accustomed to spending more than this on any given night out so it was surprising. It's not really possible to dispute this or gain any further clarity, Simon did give me a full printed receipt but it doesn't really offer much in the way of clarification. I think the min. spend is a little high anyway which is a bit punishing.

We actually had my party at the Euston Square location as Temple was fully booked. Communication was great in the lead up, service on the night great and the venue itself ideal. Karaoke was a huge hit. Loved it and helped to make my 40th birthday really memorable.

It shuts at 11 which was fine for us but if you wanted a later night it might not be for you.

Had a joint birthday party in the function room and it was an absolute blast. We were able to bring our own food to the venue as it doesn’t provide catering which was absolutely fine and gave us more flexibility food wise. We made our own playlist and staff were happy to turn up throughout the night! The karaoke was also great fun and the bar staff were patient with our drunken requests to switch between karaoke and the playlist. Really happy with our experience, had an absolute blast!
