About this space
80 Clerkenwell Road has always been the prime position in the Clerkenwell design district. Double glass doors give onto a small atrium with steps up to an open area (a ramp can be deployed to enhance access).
An open plan kitchen facilitates the transition from the entrance into the space. A long birch and ceramic counter with integrated cooking facilities that transmit heat directly through the worktop includes at one end, a terminal and seating at the other.
Talks, panel discussions, presentations, screenings are held here. Stools made from recycled plastic and coffee from Mater surround a specially commissioned table from social enterprise, Goldfinger.

Welcome to 80 Clerkenwell Road! We are delighted to host your event and ensure it is a memorable experience. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, please adhere to the following rules and regulations. By booking our space, you agree to comply with these guidelines.
1. Event Timeframe:
Your booking includes setup and teardown time. Please ensure that your event starts and concludes within the agreed-upon timeframe.
2. Capacity:
Adhere to the specified capacity limits outlined in your booking agreement. Exceeding the limit may result in additional charges or eviction from the premises.
3. Cleanliness:
Leave the event space in the same condition as it was found. A cleaning fee may be charged if excessive cleaning is required post-event.
4. Decorations:
All decorations must be pre-approved. No items may be affixed to walls, ceilings, or any other surfaces without prior consent. Confetti, glitter, and open flame candles are strictly prohibited.
5. Catering and Alcohol:
Outside catering is allowed, but please notify us in advance. Ensure that caterers comply with health and safety regulations. If serving alcohol, all applicable licenses and permits must be obtained. Alcohol consumption is limited to designated areas.
6. Noise Levels:
Keep noise levels within acceptable limits, especially during nighttime hours. Excessive noise may result in a warning or eviction from the premises.
7. Security and Access:
Security personnel may be required for certain events. Please discuss with 80 Clerkenwell Road team if unsure

Located on one corner of Clerkenwell’s answer to Shibuya Crossing, the building housed a temperance café during the Victorian era. What the original occupants would think of some of the parties that now happen in the space is not difficult to imagine!
As you progress beyond the counter, you enter an expansive open area equipped with state-of-the-art AV facilities, allowing this versatile space to seamlessly transform to accommodate a diverse range of events, playing host to engaging talks, enlightening panel discussions, captivating presentations, and cinematic screenings.
