Great staff, and the room was perfect.
Our booking was originally until midnight, but got brought back to 11pm, and started to be ushered out well before 11pm. Wine quite expensive.
Excellent staff and food (both quality and volume), the atmosphere of the room was authentic and really great. Highly recommend!!!

We had a fantastic time doing our Pub Quiz at the Crown, staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was wonderful. We definitely hope to visit again in the future!
About The Crown Tavern
The Crown Tavern is perfectly placed on the corner of Clerkenwell Green in bustling Farringdon. Take a seat with us and you could be sitting in the spot where Lenin and Stalin held a meeting in 1905. Or you may recognize our distinctive golden "Apollo Lounge" now upstairs, where scenes from the British film 'Notes on a Scandal', featuring Dame Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett, were filmed.
The Apollo Lounge - once a renowned concert hall - is spacious and bright, boasting original features and is available to hire for parties and events. We also have the Clock Room downstairs which is a smaller space to hire that has an open door space so we rope off for privacy.
This iconic London pub is the ideal spot to enjoy a pint of specialty beer and a plate of carefully sourced, home cooked pub food.
