Perfect venue for a gathering. Nice lighting, nice seating, good service, great chips and the staff looked after us really well . We'll be booking for next year 100%.
You could probably turn the heating on in the toilets, but we understand, times are tough :) :) :)
Katie who was bartending for us on the night was absolutely amazing, the venue has a lovely cosy feel and everyone commented how lovely the food was. It is a really nice venue!
We didn't quite get to our minimum spend so asked if we could transfer the remaining balance over to another visit next week for a small number of 10 (we were also likely to spend more), but were told we could only take some bottles with us
We were a group of 30. After viewing so many venues,this place ticked all our boxes and was within our budget. It was worth every single penny. I'm so surprised that it is pretty cheap compared to other pubs in that vicinity. The food was delicious and every single person in our group enjoyed it. Alcohol packages were a wowzer. Amazing find tbh. Gui and Philip at the venue were helpful.
Our entire package was prepaid in advance. I agreed on giving coupons with money value to be fair with the group. This was agreed with the event manager but unfortunately none of the information was conveyed to the actual venue manager. Luckily I managed to drop by a day before our event and found out that the above plan with coupons cannot be done. Anyway we managed to agree on something else and the event went smoothly the next day.I can't imagine if I found about this few hours before the event, it would have a complete flop show cos I would have already distributed the coupons to the group. A better communication between the two managers could have avoided this. Otherwise, no other complaints.
We hired the upstairs for a 40th and everything went perfectly well. Kendal managed the sales process expertly, and the bar manager on the night ensured we had everything we needed and made it easy for us to just enjoy the party.
The only slight gripe was with the sound system, the speakers have pretty much gone and need replacing.

For Private Hire Events we can stay open until 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
