About this space

Our beautiful cocktail bar / Victorian pub hosts many private events either as an exclusive hire or if you are looking for a space for more intimate groups - we have been running it for almost 7 years now. We pride ourselves in our excellent customer service skills as proven by our many online reviews during that time.

We are a comfortable space for up to 100 guests standing, set over 2 floors. We have the main bar commanding the central space of the ground floor and a secret snug bar in the atmospheric basement. We have hosted bands and DJ's across the space also. If you book with us you will have a dedicated event manager as your point of contact from your initial enquiry, through planning stages and the actual event.

We can curate your own dedicated drinks menu with help from our experienced bartending team and encourage you to consider a welcome drinks package. For food we have outside catering contacts but happy to consider your own caterers. Our small kitchen facilities allows us to provide limited in house options also.

We aim to set achievable minimum bar spends rather than a hire fee. The total spend will depend on the day of the week and time of year. Sunday to Wednesday for example are the most competitive days of the week whilst August is the most competitive month.
