Downstairs @ the Albany is a hidden gem, part of the pub but also a venue in its own right with private entrance, bar and toilets.
Over the years, it has played host to a litany of comedians and artists, and was the location of the first ever residency for the Chemical Brothers (The Dust Brothers) with the Heavenly Sunday Social.
This is a perfect space for daytime or evening Corporate Business events or celebration. We can offer boardroom seating, theater style or even seating in different areas for break out groups or similar.
Whether you are looking to host a Corporate Function or party the night away we can help with all your needs. The space holds 100 guests standing or 75 if you are using the stage area. We have a private entrance available on request and separate toilets. The space includes a fully stocked private bar so you have everything you need to have a perfect night with us.
Full PA system set up and AV equipment to cater to every need.

We had a lovely time thank you to all involved!
Staff were very helpful, minimum spend was very reasonable compared to many other places we checked, location is right by Great Portland Street and also very close to Warren Street which was really convenient, the room was great and set up exactly how we needed it (we ran a pub-quiz style event). Would strongly recommend to anyone looking to host an event for 40+ people.
We booked for my 40th birthday and venue staff were great right through from booking until the night. They couldn't have been more helpful and the food got great compliments. The space is really great too and I think we'll be back as plenty of people were eyeing up the venue for their own party!
Very small thing but if you like dancing the layout means a slightly split dance floor with steps in between a lower and higher space. But this is a very minor point!
Really friendly staff. Event was well organised and food order arrived on time. Everything ran smoothly and the staff set up the disco balls for us later on in the evening. The venue itself was brilliant - would definitely recommend!

We are your local pub, proudly serving some of Regent's Park's best pints along with awesome food and our excellent Sunday roasts. Our basement bar is available for private parties and DJ nights.
