Beautiful room, fantastic service, felt like a very high end event. Far more than you would normally expect from a restaurant service and more like a bespoke venue. Food was very good, everyone was very happy. Also offered reasonably priced wines that were actually very nice and didn't seem at all "reasonably priced". It's expensive, no question, but there aren't any other venues in the city of London with this kind of service at this price point.
The staff on the evening couldn't have been more helpful and professional. Top notch. The staff in the private events department were quite hard to deal with. My initial contact person seemed to be on perpetual leave (maybe she left the business?) and I was having to speak to someone new every time I called. This then lead to very slow (or no) follow through on things I needed. I was a little afraid of turning up on the evening to disaster, but again, the staff on sire were brilliant.
