The team we're extremely helpful, both in the planning stages and on the night, everything ran extremely smoothly.

It would have been nice to have a license extension (beyond 11:00) but understood this wasn't possible due to local neighbours.

Very poor communication

We viewed Staffordshire St Gallery as a potential wedding venue and the space itself is nice, but the communication was consistently poor. We repeatedly had to chase for basic information, and after we asked a straightforward question about hire options/pricing we received no reply for weeks. Planning a wedding is time-sensitive and a venue’s responsiveness is part of the service. If communication is this unreliable at the enquiry stage, it does not inspire confidence for the actual event. Because of the lack of follow-up, we booked elsewhere. I would not recommend if you need clear, timely communication.

FAQ

Yes. The venue has 90 chairs, 10 trestle tables measuring 6 feet by 3 feet, and 10 round tables measuring 1 metre in diameter, all included in the price. A ceiling-mounted projector, microphones and a speaker system are also included.

The venue only has wired microphones. You could hire a radio microphone if required, from somewhere like this.

Yes, real candles are permitted, as long as you avoid having any hanging fabrics over them.

Yes, venue hire timings can be extended at a later date.

The main doors must remain closed while the DJ plays, so guests should use the other entrance during that time.
