The team we're extremely helpful, both in the planning stages and on the night, everything ran extremely smoothly.
It would have been nice to have a license extension (beyond 11:00) but understood this wasn't possible due to local neighbours.

Very poor communication
We viewed Staffordshire St Gallery as a potential wedding venue and the space itself is nice, but the communication was consistently poor. We repeatedly had to chase for basic information, and after we asked a straightforward question about hire options/pricing we received no reply for weeks. Planning a wedding is time-sensitive and a venue’s responsiveness is part of the service. If communication is this unreliable at the enquiry stage, it does not inspire confidence for the actual event. Because of the lack of follow-up, we booked elsewhere. I would not recommend if you need clear, timely communication.

The venue's PA must be used, but an external sound engineer is acceptable, provided they turn it down if the front-of-house team asks.

The main doors must remain closed while the DJ plays, so guests should use the other entrance during that time. This follows a recent noise complaint from a neighbour.
