Used a small private dining room for a farewell dinner. Lovely location and nice vibe as you enter the restaurant. The staff were friendly and efficient. Food was quite excellent. We had pre-ordered but it was all freshly made and delicious. Service was generally good with the exception of one obvious but significant element.
As it was a farewell event we had a couple of short speeches/gifts etc. Annoyingly the staff decided to come in and start clearing while people were speaking which really disrupted things. I found this rude and intensely annoying. I recognise they are working to a schedule. But a little situational awareness would be good.
