Lovely relaxed venue conveniently tucked away a short walk from Angel or Kings X. It's somehow both spacious and cosy, with a great array of beers and ales. Communication was good and service on the day was warm, welcoming and professional. The catering was also great for the most part with the pizzas excellent! Thanks very much to Nick and the team.
The hot tap in the men's bathroom! The mozzarella/arancini platters aren't as interesting as the fresh pizza but good for nibbles.
Nick was incredibly accommodating. He helped me get my head around the venue size, understanding when strikes reduced our numbers, and was really friendly when we arrived. There was a great beer selection and lovely pizza.
The disabled bathroom happens to mean going into the ladies currently (which isn't ideal). However, Nick was aware of this and intending to act on it, so not a major issue.
We had our engagement party at the George and monkey and had the most amazing time ! Thank you so much to all the staff that worked that night - it was a very happy lovely occasion and we’re very grateful!!
Really responsive communication and lovely to deal with, great venue and excellent staff, would definitely recommend!

Mine is!
