The Georgian Eating Room at Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery
About this space
The room is decorated in pastel blues and greens, hand-painted onto the walls. The windows look out onto the gardens, which guests can move into freely. As the name suggests, this was the dining room in Soane's time, where he entertained neighbours, friends, academicians, artists, theatre people, clients, and prospective clients — but rarely other architects.
