We chose The One Tun because of its historical significance and the ambience did not disappoint. Our guests were able to mingle easily and we were able to set the room up for our book launch and have them gather around to hear the talks. Most importantly, the food was excellent and staff very helpful.
Lack of coordination behind the scenes. A few months before the event, I was asked if I had paid the £500 deposit. Then again on the night itself I was asked the same question when the bill had been paid in full months before. Communication re charges for bar/food/space and deposit needs to be tightened up.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous space, perfect location, faultless food, great communication beforehand. Thanks for having us!
The only downside was the music - we were aware that due to the hotel rooms upstairs, it couldn't be too loud, but we had expected it to at least be audible... Maybe our group was just too noisy! Not a big deal at all; the party was still wonderful and the team were amazing.
