Very helpful staff helped me set up the AV equipment and sound desk.
Nice space that encouraged a good atmosphere.
Bar is upstairs and it was difficult to keep track on spend by guests (to know whether you're meeting your min spend run rate), guest need to tell bar staff they're buying drinks for the basement. Only a minor issue but one to be mindful of.

The main pub is easy to access, but the event space is in the basement/underground. The steps are not too steep, although this is relative, and measurements can be provided if needed; the toilets are also in the basement, there is no downstairs bar, and other guests will need access to the space without sitting there, so this may not be ideal.
Yes, guests are welcome to bring their own cake.
Yes, external decorations like balloons and flowers are allowed, but approval is required for items that require moving furniture or attaching to walls.
Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 30 days to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
