Events Space at Hiver Taproom
About this space
Hiver Taproom is a brewery taproom in a converted railway arch characterised by a relaxed, flexible bar layout.
Design: The interior features corrugated metal panels painted in terracotta and green that form repeating arch motifs. The floor is exposed concrete and the space is furnished with simple wooden benches, small tables and potted plants that allow natural light to filter through.
Features: The venue operates an on-site bar serving its beers alongside cocktails, wine and coffee and allows outside food from nearby vendors. The layout includes a downstairs taproom, a mezzanine and a private karaoke room, and the hireable space supports a PA system, microphone and AV for DJs or presentations. Accessibility and practical facilities include a step-free guest entrance, wheelchair access, accessible toilets, Wi‑Fi and air conditioning; the venue permits own music subject to noise restrictions.
Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, social drinks-led gathering that mixes informal seated areas with space for music, tastings or DJ-led entertainment.
What sets it apart: An on-site brewing programme uses honey in its beers and the venue runs honey-harvesting demonstrations and themed tastings.
What guests say: The taproom has friendly, helpful staff and a convivial atmosphere. The mezzanine provides a practical private area for music or karaoke hires, though it can become warm when full.
