Great venue! Perfect for sitting and standing, we had 50 guests but you could easily have a lot more. Easy to connect your own music, good bar staff & all very easy!

We held a book launch at The Boudoir Bar. It's a gem of venue, fantastically located. Every member of staff was incredibly helpful and friendly - our guests all commented on this. Emails responded too quickly, only one got missed, but it was a late query my end and it was answered on the night.
It's a nice sized room, quirkily decorated, good seating areas. Own toilets. Food from restaurant could also be sent upstairs.
There were issues with the sound equipment, but the effort of staff on duty (including the DJ from downstairs) was immense and a solution was found. I think the team were more stressed than me. The hour downtime was not ideal, but guests didn't seem to mind. I didn't want to put this is the dislike box as tech goes wrong, and the guys worked hard to fix the problem, though a clearer Plan B is needed for when things go wrong.
The minimum spend makes this a very affordable venue, right in the heart of Soho - and the happy hour prices offered in the bar downstairs are available upstairs too.
We have another launch soon, will be back.
I don't think there is much to dislike, and this isn't a dislike - it's an observation. As a small business, I did have one eye on making sure the minimum spend would be reached, and worried the lack of draught beers would have an impact as guests may go downstairs for a pint. So maybe a few draught options would be nice.

The staff were lovely, the venue was excatly what I expected, nice there is private toilets
I was deeply disappointed with the DJ service for my birthday. He arrived late and maintained an unprofessional, impolite attitude throughout the night, even arguing with me when I asked to change the music. Most frustratingly, he didn't actually "DJ"—he sat on his phone and played a basic Spotify playlist without any mixing. I paid for a professional experience and received something I could have done myself for free. I would not recommend.
