Important Information for Hirers

Deposit
A £100 deposit must be made to secure any booking and must be paid before the booking can take place, this is fully refundable if you have adhered to our booking terms and conditions and there were no additional cleaning charges required, this will be returned within a week of your booking.

Set Up and Tidy Up Times
If you hire one of our facilities for an event, class, or workshop etc, you must factor in a set up time and tidy away time within your booking. If you arrive early, you may not be allowed into any of our facilities before your booking slot. Also, if your booking overruns you may be charged accordingly and could forfeit your deposit.

Car Parking
We have very limited car parking facilities. Please enquire about our car parking spaces prior to your booking, as these are different for each venue. Please make sure that your guests or clients are aware of this prior to your booking. We have fantastic public transport links to all our facilities.

Regular Bookings
If you wish to book any of our facilities on a regular basis, Castlehaven will look at a percentage off depending on the length of the booking and whether you are an individual, voluntary organisation/charity or corporate business.

Storage of Equipment for Regular Hirers
We have very limited storage space on offer for external groups/organisations. If you require storage of equipment for your regular facilities booking, please speak with a member of the team to see if we can help.

We had a great experience hosting our first MoonBear Market at Devas Garden Room. David was very helpful throughout the booking process, with clear communication and detailed explanations of everything we needed to know before the event. He was responsive, professional, and made the planning process straightforward. On the day itself, Avi was fantastic. He was approachable, understanding, and incredibly helpful whenever any issues or questions arose. Having someone on-site who was so open and willing to assist made a big difference and helped the event run smoothly. The venue worked well for our market, and the Camden location was easy for visitors to reach. WiFi was available, parking access was helpful for unloading, and the team were flexible in helping us prepare for the event beforehand. Overall, the venue offered good value for money and provided a welcoming space for our first market event.
There were only a few minor points that future organisers may find useful to know. The listing mentioned air conditioning, however during our event there was no traditional air conditioning system available, only fans. On a warm day the room became quite hot, even when they were on and the doors were open, so this is something to bear in mind for summer events. We also found out on the day that the group booked before us did not attend. Had we known the space would be vacant even on the morning of, we may have been able to begin setting up or opening slightly earlier, which would have been helpful. The outdoor play area and surrounding outdoor space were also a little untidy compared to the indoor areas of the venue. None of these issues prevented us from running a successful event, but they are worth noting for future bookings.
