About this space

The Sanctuary is a stunning space full of stained glass, carved woodwork, and architectural features. It boasts a grand piano, fine organ, and integral audio system.

This wonderful church provides a hugely impressive space for larger events such as conferences and concerts and baptisms for up to 100 guests. Please note that we are not currently able to host wedding ceremonies unless they are for members of the United Reformed Church tradition for which we have a licence for heterosexual and same-sex marriages.

Host rules

We don't hire on a Sunday as we are doing church stuff! Regret that teenage parties are not permitted. Loud music needs to be turned off from 10.30pm and all out by 11pm to respect the neighbours. We are OK with alcohol being brought and consumed on the premises, you'd need to apply for a licence to sell alcohol.

Our venue is very popular on Saturday afternoons and evenings so you'd need to book early - we do occasionally have short notice cancellations.

Compliance with our fire safety and safeguarding policies are included within out terms, thanks

We ask hirers to arrange their own setting up and clearing down so the halls are left as found. you'd need to take away your own rubbish too please as we don't have facilities on site.
