About this space

Downstairs @ the Albany is a hidden gem, part of the pub but also a venue in its own right with private entrance, bar and toilets.

Over the years, it has played host to a litany of comedians and artists, and was the location of the first ever residency for the Chemical Brothers (The Dust Brothers) with the Heavenly Sunday Social.

This is a perfect space for daytime or evening Corporate Business events or celebration. We can offer boardroom seating, theater style or even seating in different areas for break out groups or similar.

Whether you are looking to host a Corporate Function or party the night away we can help with all your needs. The space holds 100 guests standing or 75 if you are using the stage area. We have a private entrance available on request and separate toilets. The space includes a fully stocked private bar so you have everything you need to have a perfect night with us.

Full PA system set up and AV equipment to cater to every need.

Wonderful venue for a 50th birthday party. We had a live band and it was an ideal size for the 60-70 guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout.
