About this space

The Garden Arch at SAMA Bankside, a popular spot for birthday parties, brings a summer feel to the indoor pub. With the private terrace, it is ideal for a sit-down dinner or standing reception.

Our inside Garden Arch on the upper floor is a light airy space with a summer garden feel and is decorated with flowers and fake grass.

It's a great space for your next celebration and is hugely popular for engagement and birthday parties, or a sit-down meal on weekdays, and leads directly outside to our private outside space adding an extension to your company summer party.

On weekends have a DJ on from 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays playing a mix of Club Classics, R&B, House and Disco until 1am when we close.

The space is also ideal for company meetings, presentations and away-days and if booked for this comes with projector, screen and flip charts if required.

Our garden arch seats 20 for dinner parties or up to 50 for a standing reception. Dimensions: 4m x 7.5m.

30th Birthday Party · 45 guests · January 2026
So well organised, beautiful setting. Basically everything organised as soon as you arrive. Food got lots of compliments. Basically had our section to ourselves. Great set up and activities like beer pong, then DJ and music. Perfect place for an event and will recommend to everyone who has and event. Had my 30th birthday here. Was an amazing night, and so many compliments from everyone
Nothing at all, such great value for money too only requiring a deposit and no minimum spend

Venue, food and service
Communication with venue post booking was not as professional as it should have been. Would have awarded 5* without the admin glitches.

Absolutely perfect space for my leaving drinks. Friendly staff, great cocktails, and the space was even bigger than the pictures made it seem. It was brilliant, thank you!!
